The Orbit's Lair Encounter
As they approached the fields, Raya, a subspecies of Ribina named Larsuku, pulled Nebula, a regular Ribina, along. Nebula was hesitant to follow, but Raya was insistent. Nebula didn’t want to go, but Raya insisted she go with her. There is a cave up ahead, and she was excited to see what she could find. Nebula, however, just wanted to go home. Nebula tried to turn back but Raya stopped her.
“You have gone so far, and now you have to continue. You can’t just turn back now, what is the walk for then?”
Nebula sighs, knowing Raya is right.
“I never chose to come here…” She said softly.
Raya looked at Nebula with a serious but playful look.
“Now come on, it will be fun!”
Raya took off into the cave, and Nebula slowly went after her. It was dark, but Raya could navigate it easily. Raya suddenly stopped running and just stood there. Nebula wondered…what was wrong? Then Nebula’s eyes grew big. There was an area up front. In the middle of it, is a pearl floating in the air. Raya stepped closer, and began to hear whispers.
“Woah…what is this place?” She wondered.
Nebula also has no idea, but she wouldn’t want to get close, in fear of the dangers that can lurk upon the area.
“Be careful…we don't know if there are any traps here!” Nebula warned.
Raya just shook her head, listening to the whispers and getting closer to the pearl. She turned around, and looked at Nebula.
“It can show us…our fortune…” Raya said. “Come here!”
Nebula got closer, interested but cautious. Raya reached out for the pearl, and as soon as she touched it, it began to glow.
Silence dripped as Nebula watched Raya, not knowing there was something that could harm their ways.
“What will be my fortune, pearl?”
