Krys has always adored October in all its spooky glory. Sometimes even reminiscing on past conversations that have any spooky vibes or topics to them. So today they decided that the plan was to walk amidst the cool autumn breeze with their Ribinas. They looked like a rather large pack, with 14 Ribinas following Krys along. Excluding just the normal crisp air, something else seemed off. Krys was unable to put her finger on it honestly. Perhaps this walk would help enlighten them to the strange happenings of Farasea. So on they walked throughout the day, and into the evening.

The moon was bright, although the clouds seemed to dim the sky around them. Robbyn seemed to be staying extra close to them, Krys thought. Suddenly Krys tripped over one of the younger Ribinas. Landing flat on the ground, Krys noticed something through a nearby bush. It looked like a Ribina but something was off. Aurelia seemed extra protective as Krys squinted into the darkness. This strange creature seemed almost rabid. Something dripped onto the ground as it twitched and jerked its head at any slight noise. Their coat seemed more rough, and their claws were a lot longer than they had ever seen before. More than just a simple mutation.

Krys stood up slowly, approaching with an outstretched hand. A soft whisper to their voice, “Hey little gal, you okay?” As soon as the words left their mouth, the strange Ribina looked towards them. Its eyes seem to glow in the moonlight. As quickly as their eyes met, the creature bolted into the woods. Krys was concerned about the poor Ribina. Were they hurt? So they quickly sprinted afterwards. Their poor Ribinas left behind in confusion of Krys’ actions. They were trying to catch up but couldn’t seem to get close.

They skidded to a stop outside a set of familiar gates. “This is the graveyard, the poor thing could get hurt!” They frowned with concern. Obviously they knew trying to follow was an absolute no go. Why would they want to be there, when most left with such grievous injuries? Krys then remembered they had left their Ribinas back at the location they ran into them at first. They quickly began heading back, their thoughts swimming with confusion, worry, and intrigue.
