Arias Peak

Isis Cove

Can be home to characters.

Mountains are known to be harsh and unforgiving. They can chill you to the bone. The Ribinas who live here are more gray and dark. A distinct color against the snow.

Arias Peak was once a picturesque and warm place adorned with abundant flora and fauna. Its mountains were lush with grass, which gradually gave way to snow as you neared the peak. The climate was mild, and Ribinas would often come to admire the stunning views from the mountain.

However, everything changed when Envis cast a curse upon the land. The once vibrant life of the mountains began to fade away, with trees withering and grass dying. The temperature plummeted, and the air turned frigid. Snow covered the mountains, and only a few trees and patches of grass remained. The Ribinas who lived there had higher tolerance to the harsh weather conditions than other Ribinas. Ribinas who called the mountains home had to adapt to these harsh new conditions, and the ones who failed to handle the change, perished as a result. Most of the spirits went to the cemetery but there were a few that managed to stay. Either way, they became corrupted and dangerous. Those who survived had to live in the caves and adapt to the corrupted and perilous spirits that now roamed the land.

The corrupted spirits resided in the cave walls, often marking their territory with symbols on the walls, and would trap and turn the Ribinas into spirits themselves. Those lucky enough to avoid being trapped lived with the knowledge that they could lose their homes at any time if a spirit decided to claim their cave. The Ribinas who chose to remain in their physical bodies suffered greatly under the spirits' control, often experiencing fear and having their fertility taken away.

However, there is hope for the Ribinas, as humans passing through the mountains often offer to rescue them from the spirits' control and provide them with warmth and shelter. Though they are wary of trusting humans due to their traumatic past experiences, the Ribinas can find happiness in their new lives if treated kindly by their owners.
