October has finally arrived, marking the onset of Envis’s uprising. The number of Iniqus has surged exponentially, reaching thousands. Stopping Envis now seems nearly impossible. But for the sake of the Ribinas and their home, you’re willing to do anything to protect and save them.

You cautiously approached the graveyard, scanning your surroundings to ensure no Iniqus were nearby. Flashbacks reminded you of the last time you were here, when you nearly got caught by pursuing Iniqus. Though you managed to escape, you sustained an arm injury that still bears scars. Despite the pain, you pressed on, knowing the Ribinas needed your help.

You reached the border and took a deep breath. As you touched it, a sense of unease washed over you. Suddenly, you blacked out. When you came to, you found yourself in a dark, empty void.

“I’ve been waiting for you…” a voice echoed in the darkness. It was Envis. You realized too late that it had all been a trap to capture you.

Then you finally woke up, finding yourself shackled to a wall with two Iniqus standing guard and watching your every move. Envis loomed nearby, observing you intently. You realized you were in a dark cell, illuminated only by flickering candles, with thick iron bars enclosing you. The cell was small but not excessively cramped.

“Well… we finally meet again,” Envis said. “So, you want to save the Ribinas? Face the truth,” he stepped closer to you, “you can’t. It’s too late.”

He backed away with a sinister laugh.

“I’m sure you’ve seen my work. And I’m sure you know the Vortex,” he said with a grin. “It’s the engraved circle you’ve seen before.”

Envis began pacing back and forth. “The Vortex is my power and control over the Iniqus. With it, I can create an army and conquer Isis Cove. Don’t even think about trying to break it; it’s unbreakable, and I’d know if you tried to tamper with it.”

He stared at you. “The crystal at the center, known as The Vortex’s Heart, draws its energy from the very core of the graveyard and can control every essence of the beings. It reveals events from the past, present, and future. Its power is beyond your comprehension.”

He flashed a final, cruel smile. “So long, human. We’ll meet again… soon.”

With that, Envis and the two Iniqus walked out of the cell. The doors slammed shut behind him and you were left trapped, with no apparent means of escape.
