The World's Beginning
The Elders have an unknown origin. There was once a man—the first to walk Isis Cove, the island in another universe named Farasea. He spent his early days in solitude, questioning his purpose in the world. He didn’t remember how he came to be or where he was. All he knew was that he had to find meaning in his existence. Driven by curiosity, he ventured into the woods. Surrounded by thick bushes and dense foliage, he wandered deeper. Then, a troubling realization struck him—he couldn’t remember his own name.
"Why can’t I remember anything?" he wondered, his thoughts heavy with confusion. The questions swirled in his mind, and he longed for answers.
He saw no sign of animals—no birds, no rabbits, not even insects. Yet, life was clearly present. The forest was lush with grass, fruit-bearing bushes, and towering trees. It felt strange—so much vegetation, but not a single living creature in sight. He continued exploring, and before long, he came upon a cave. He hesitated. It might be dangerous, but curiosity pulled at him.
Cautiously, he stepped inside and ventured deeper. Soon, he reached a spacious chamber within. It was quiet and still—a good place to rest. Deciding it was safe enough, he set up camp there for the night.
The next morning, he set out once more. The sun was bright, and warmth radiated across his skin as he moved through the forest. Hours passed until he reached a cliff, drawn by the distant sound of crashing waves. He stepped forward, approaching the edge. Below, the ocean churned violently, waves slamming against jagged rocks.
He turned to walk away—but his foot slipped. Suddenly, he was falling.
Instinct took over, and he managed to grab the edge just in time. Now he dangled fifty feet above the unforgiving rocks below, his fingers clinging desperately to the cliffside. Panic surged through him. His arms trembled. He was too weak to pull himself up.
His mind spiraled.
How did this happen? How did I trip? I'm going to die. What do I do? Someone... please, help me!
His thoughts only fueled the fear. His grip weakened. This was it. His final moment. Then he let go. Time seemed to slow. As he fell, his eyes caught one last glimpse of the cliffs, the sky, the crashing sea.
And then— Darkness.
He awoke in a white, featureless space. As his eyes adjusted to the light, he realized he was surrounded by a cloud-like mist. The air was cool, almost soothing.
What happened? he wondered.
Slowly, he began to walk, glancing around the endless whiteness. As he moved, fragments of memory drifted back. The cliff. The fall. The feeling of weightlessness. The rocks below.
He had died.
Is this... heaven?
Overwhelmed, he dropped to his knees, and the weight of it all crashed over him.
He broke down in tears.
Then, from the silence, a voice emerged — not of this world, nor like any he had ever heard. It resonated not through air, but through the soul, echoing from beyond the veil of reality itself. Whether it rose from within or descended from celestial realms, he could not tell.
You have walked but briefly upon the earth, child of time. Yet now, you are called to something far beyond the bounds of flesh and dust. You have been chosen — not by chance, but by design — to ascend. To become more than man. To become a guardian of the cosmos, a steward of eternity, the face through which the universe watches itself.
The voice shimmered with light, each word laced with warmth and gravity, as though the stars themselves whispered them.
But the choice is yours. You may return — to the land of beginnings, to the rhythm of ordinary life. Your memories of this calling will fade like a dream before dawn, and you shall be born anew, untouched by destiny."
If your soul yearns for what lies beyond, step forth into the radiance — the light that glows with truth and infinity. But if your heart seeks rest among the familiar, turn to the gentle dark — and be at peace.
And before him, two lights began to stir. One radiant and golden, pulsing like the heart of heaven itself. The other soft and shadowed, a quiet veil of comfort and forgetfulness.
He paused, deep in thought. What does this voice mean? He was still unsure of where to go.
After a long stretch of contemplation, he realized he didn’t want to give life on the ground another chance. With a steadying breath, he stepped toward the golden light.
He stopped just before crossing the threshold, hesitating once more. Then, with one final breath, he moved forward.
The light shimmered as he passed through.
Welcome to the Kingdom, Elder.
